'making  matter pictorial.'
Sensations derived from social cultural changes are the themes I try to translate in art, by visualizing these awarenesses, through art principles, shaping actions in a problem solving proces. My note books can attest to that. By searching for the right words (metaphors) a translation appears. It often leeds to a specific abstract visual language. Through a visual thinking proces I try to make matter ( what matters to me) the pivot of the work. By selection, abstraction, analysis, exploration, comparison I find a solution .
Abstract art is not just playing with form and color. It speaks and makes statements. In addition, there are ranges of expressive elements such as movement, harmony, rest, emptiness, chaos and clarity that can enhance abstract work.
In this way, my abstract art can even reflect the sensitive qualities of our existence. So I show the invisible. Titles help to understand what it's about: the Void; present through absence, deflated  frames, the Other, Fragmentation of our existence, Sectarianism, Floating between being there and not being there, Colorful meanings.
"The essence of an image is its ability to convey meaning through sensory experience. Pictures and language are established conceptual modifiers; they are the outer shells of actual meaning. Without form an image cannot carry a visual message into consciousness. Thus it is the organized forms that deliver the visual concept that makes an image legible." (R.Arnheim)
